Life as a single mom
May 25, 2009 by Kristy
I know it’s been awhile, but I’m back. You know the saying ” When you have a child, Life and your priorities change as well “. It is so true but I wouldn’t change a thing if I could. Being a single mom isn’t always easy. Especially when you’re trying to work, go to school, but at least I have the advantage of being able to attend school online, but I try to do my work when my little man is at school or after I get him down for the night. A mother’s job doesn’t stop, it’s a 24/7 job. So when I hear people that doesn’t have children or as some guys say ‘ It must be nice to be able to stay at home and not have to go work “. A mother’s job doesn’t ever stop. I know having my son changed my life for the better. He has helped me in more ways than any or he could ever imagine. When I started this blog and writing my post I was beginning to feel better mentally finally after my separation and my divorce. So I started having the ambition to start writing again. Then I started battling depression again, so I didn’t feel like writing. At the time I was thinking, Why? I didn’t feel like writing and I started losing interest once again. At the moment my son and I are living with my parents. It has some advantages but it can be hard and not to mention frustrating, especially when you’re not able to live on your own like I want to. But trust me I’m working on that and doing te best I can and trying to learn as much as I can so I can start my Web Designing and Development home business so we can be on our own again and be able to make it on make it on our own. I try to keep reminding myself that God doesn’t put more on us than we can bare. Although sometimes I’m like Ok, I have had enough and I can’t do it anymore and usually that’s when you start feeling hope, strength, and begin to feel more positive. I know everything is going to workout somehow. I feel it in my heart and with God and My Son in my life I won’t give up. Everything happens for a reason and your past is what has made you the person you are today. What doesn’t break you, will only make you stronger!

Hey,I’d like to read more (you cover some interesting topics like adoption, fertility and working from home that interest me) but you are making it a bit difficult. All the best, Julie
